The HVAC system for the Jones Residence has 2 chillers with six fans. The town of Greenwich, Connecticut has a city ordinance stating that the allowable noise level at the property line is 55 dBA from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 49 dBA from 10:01 p.m. to 6:59 a.m. During a sound test by the city, the residence was found to have the following levels: |

| RINK Sound Control designed an
enclosure that would attenuate the noise produced by 1 Compressor and
6 Fans running at once down to 50 dBA as per the customer's request. The
design consisted of an enclosure constructed of RINK LAS-4 Acoustical
Louvers and a roof of RINK 2" panels mounted on top of each chiller
in a penthouse fashion. After the treatment was completed, the new sound
levels at the property line were measured as such: |
